About Meera - A story of change
Early Childhood Education
Pratham believes in the importance of building strong foundations for children aged 0-8 years. This aligns with the goals of the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Through play-based pedagogy, low-cost materials, and active involvement of families and communities, Pratham’s Early Childhood Program fosters the growth and holistic development of children.
Elementary
Acquiring and sustaining foundational skills is key to strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills in elementary schools. Using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach, children catch up on reading and math through group activities involving schools, families, volunteers, and communities.
Digital Initiatives
Pratham leverages innovative technology and digital content to enhance learning beyond basics and foster a community-wide learning environment for children. The program focuses on creating tech-enabled solutions to prepare children and youth for school, work, and life.
